Draft photo electoral rolls prepared for Yaiskul and Wangkhei ACs

Imphal, November 02 2021: Office of the Electoral Registration Officer/SDO Porompat has notified the electors of 14-Yaiskul and 15-Wangkhei Assembly Constituencies that the Draft Photo Electoral Rolls in connection with the Special Summary revision of Photo Electoral Rolls w.r.t 01/01/2022 as the qualifying date for the above constituencies have been prepared in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960 .

The above has been informed in a notification issued by Pooja Elangbam, SDO Porompat.

A copy of the said electoral roll is available for inspection at the Office of the Electoral Registration Officer/SDO Porompat and the Office of the Assistant Electoral Registration Officers/the SDC, Porompat and the Office of the Assistant Electoral Registration Officers/the SDC(HQ), Porompat and at the respective polling stations/designated locations of the above mentioned ACs during office hours from November 1 to 30, added the notification.

The notification continued that the qualifying date for the preparation of the Electoral Roll is 01/01/2022 .

It also informed that any claim for inclusion of name in the Photo Electoral Rolls or any objection to the inclusion of name or any particulars in any entry with reference to the above said qualifying date should be lodged before November 30 in forms 6,7,8 and 8A as may be appropriate and such claims should be presented at the Office of the ERO/SDO Porompat or Office of the Assistant EROs or respective Booth Level Officers between November 1 to 30 or be sent by post.
