MLA of Keirao AC extends monetary aid to ASHA workers

Deputy Chairman of Manipur State Planning Board, Lourembam Rameshwor Meetei presented monetary aid to ASHA workers of Keirao Assembly Constituency for the third time.
In a simple ceremony held at his residence at Kyamgei Mamang Leikai today, L Rameshwor Meetei who is also the MLA of Keirao AC presented Rs 2,000 (Rupees two thousand)- each to around 42 ASHA workers.
It may be mentioned that be started providing monetary aids to ASHA workers in the constituency from his own expense since June above the regular honorariums given to ASHA workers by the Government.
He is providing the monetary aids to ASHA workers acknowledging their selfless contributions during the difficult time of COVID-19 pandemic.
Later the MLA also presented wheel chairs to seven bed ridden persons of Keirao Makting.
L Prema, an ASHA worker lauded the MLA for his noble gesture motivating them to serve the people relentlessly.

Makting expressed concern over the false propaganda doing rounds that L Rameshwor Meetei is a communal and biased person and termed it baseless.
He continued that the MLA is helping all the people of Keirao AC irrespective of caste and religion and such acts of him proves that he is a genuine people's representative.
