Imphal, August 31 2017:
The Manipur Naga People's Front (MNPF) has accused NSCN-IM leader Th Muivah of disintegrating Naga people and misguiding Naga civil society organisations .
A statement issued by the outfit's assistant publicity secretary Thomas Numai alleged that NSCN-IM has been following a policy of dictatorship .
The whole North East region is now embroiled in multiple conflicts on account of 'Somdal policies' of NSCN-IM led by Th Muivah .
Every sane person knows that the Framework Agreement signed between Government of India and NSCN-IM is a poisonous policy of New Delhi which is aimed at creating enmity among the peoples of the North East region and suppress all revolutionary movements of the region .
Nagas had experienced the worst situation when the NSCN-IM under the leadership of Th Muivah killed a number of Naga people by levelling false allegations against them as anti-Naga, traitors etc who were ready to accept the Indian Constitution .
However, a joint council meeting of the steering committee and council of kilonsers of NSCN-IM adopted a resolution on July 12, 2017 under the leadership of Th Muivah which declared that any individual or organisation that opposes the Framework Agreement (which is within the Indian Constitution) would be considered as anti-Naga or anti-peace process .
Very often, Th Muivah speaks about 'forgive and forget' and Naga integration but it is he who tortured and killed many innocent Nagas with false allegations.
But no one dare open their mouth for fear of torture and life .
NSCN-IM has been misguiding various Naga CSOs.
As a result, Naga people no longer have any faith in Naga social organisations, Church leaders, chieftains and village elders, MNPF alleged.
When Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) approached UNC for reconciliation about the Kuki-Naga ethnic clash where hundreds were killed and several houses burnt down, the UNC turned down KIM's approach for they were threatened by Th Muivah.
The Nagas in Manipur particularly Tangkhuls belonging to the Southern, Eastern and Northern areas (Kamo and Raphei) are well aware of the selfish dictatorship of NSCN-IM led by Th Muivah .
Since the signing of ceasefire on August 1, 1997 between GoI and NSCN-IM, many innocent Nagas have been killed, some of the prominent ones being MLA Wungnaoshang Keishing, former TKS president Jonathan Kashung and ADC Ukhrul former Vice-Chairman MC Ngalangzar .
The most shocking episode was Th Muivah's denial of burial ground to late Rishang Keishing, former Chief Minister of Manipur and one of the oldest parliamentarians in the world at his native village of Bungpa .
Th Muivah also banned all Naga social organisations from even convening a condolence service for Rishang Keishing, it alleged.
