House okays all three Bills

The Manipur Legislative Assembly today passed all the three Bills drafted with the primary objective of regulating influx of non-local people into the State.
The Protection of Manipur Peoples Bill 2015, the Manipur Land Revenue and Land Reforms (Seventh Amendment) Bill 2015 and the Manipur Shops and Establishments (Second Amendment) Bill 2015 were unanimously passed by the Assembly without any debate.
The Protection of Mani-pur Peoples Bill 2015, the Manipur Land Revenue and Land Reforms (Seventh Amendment) Bill 2015 and the Manipur Shops and Establishments (Second Amendment) Bill 2015 were tabled at the House by Chief Minister O Ibobi, Revenue Minister Th Debendra and Labour and Employment Minister I Hemochandra respectively.
Except for MLA E Chand who was given leave by the House on account of some personal engagements, all the incumbent MLAs attended the special session.
Even as Speaker Th Lokeshwar initiated the House proceeding by taking up each Bill separately, all the Members of the House agreed to pass all the three Bills without any debate.
Subsequently, all the Bills were passed by the State Assembly.
