Online test for financial literacy commences

Online National Financial Literacy Assessment test, which is being carried out under the initiative of National Centre for Financial Education to spread financial literacy among students nationwide, commenced on Monday.
The test being conducted at Mother's Pride Academy, Bishnupur district will continue till April 19 .
Speaking to newspersons, Academy principal Khomdram Basanta Singh explained that the online test will educate students on efficient spending.
The test is divided into three categories namely Junior (class 6-8), Middle (class 9-10), and Senior (class 11-12) and any student can take the test by logging in to National Centre for Financial Education website.
He further pointed out that the test has eight modules namely Money Matters, Banking, Insurance, Investment, Pension, Financial Inclusion, Tax System in India and Consumer Forum.
This test will also equip students with knowledge on family budgeting, he opined.
