Search ops continue, weapons recovered

Imphal, August 10 2024: A combined team of Bishnupur district police commando and Border Security Force (BSF) conducted a search operation at Phaizol hill under Kumbi Police Station of Bishnupur district at around 7.30 am on Saturday and recovered several weapons.

According to a police report, the combined security team recovered two 12 Bore Single Barrel rifles, one 303 modified rifle, two SLR magazines, eight hand grenades, two Chinese hand grenades, three stun grenades, two tube launchers, two arming rings, eight live cartridges, two fired cartridges, two blank cartridges and one Chinese detonator.

The seized items have been handed over to Kumbi PS for further legal action.
