Imphal, February 01 2023: Keithelmanbi Battalion of IGAR (South) on Tuesday distributed the final instalment of scholarships amounting to Rs 3 lakh in total to four students who have qualified for admission to Sainik School, Imphal in Class VI this year and belong to Economic Weaker Section.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the aim of the scholarship is to enable the parents of said students to afford quality education for their children.

The initiative has been undertaken by Assam Rifles in partnership with Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India (ICICI) Bank.

The Keithelmanbi Battalion commandant distributed the cheques to four students under ICICI scholarship scheme on the 51st Raising Day of Sainik School, Imphal.
