Imphal, January 31 2022: Several members of Tamenglong BJP Martipur Pradesh have resigned en-masse from being primary/active members of the party on Sunday.

Those who tendered resignations in a joint letter addressed to BJP Manipur Pradesh president included Tamenglong AC ex-MLA Janghemlung Panmei, office bearers of District Management Committee, Sangath-an-II, NungbaMandal, Tamenglong Mandal Yuva Morcha, ST Morcha, Media Cell convener, Intellectual Cell co-convener, Mahila Morcha Tamenglong Mandal, BJP Tamenglong, District Committee, executive members, ex-members of ADC Tamenglong, Akhul, Houchong, Tharon, Dailong and Khongjaron segments, and intending candidates of ADC Houchong and Awangkhul segments.

The statement also said that the members have lost their faith in the leadership of BJP and hence they are tendering their resignation from the party.
