Biswajit releases DIPR calendar

Imphal, December 27 2019: Information and Public Relations Minister Thongam Biswajit Singh today released Manipur Wall Calendar 2020 and Manipur Diary 2020 during a simple function held this evening in the confe-rence hall of his New Secretariat office.

Both the Manipur Wall Calendar 2020 and the Manipur Diary 2020 will be made available to the general public at the DIPR Keishampat office starting from December 30 at the rate of Rs 90 for the wall calendar and Rs180 for the diary.

Biswajit lauded the Directorate including the Director and his staff for ensuring timely release of both the calendar and the diary, and said that this shows that officers and staff of the directorate have been working efficiently.

A lot can be learned about the State from the calendar and the diary, he said adding that the calendar and the diary highlight the State's profile.

The calendar highlights State Government's policies and programmes.

The diary also includes fact profiles including State bird, State animal, among others.

Biswajit also wished the journalist fraternity of the State on the coming of New Year.

Director, IPR H Balkrisna Singh, Under Secretary, IPR A Heera Singh, Deputy Director (HQ) in charge of Press & Publication T Ramesh Singh, and Manager Publication S Snehprabha also attended the release function.
