CCpur, July 27 2020: Even as 164 more samples collected from close-contacts of a private lab in Churachandpur returned negative today, a two year old girl child on home quarantine with her parents tested positive along with 8 personnel from 113 Bn BSF located inside STC BSF.

The girl who returned from Delhi along with her parents was reportedly on home quarantine.

Her's is the only sample that returned positive from 172 collected yesterday.

Among the negative results, 164 are from close-contacts of the private lab which has so far witnessed no positive cases and took the total samples tested to 480.36 more samples from the same groups were collected today.

The eight BSF personnel who tested positive today were detected using RAT kits.

A total of 68 personnel had taken the Rapid Antigen Test while another 81 samples were collected for RT PCR test to be sent to Imphal along with 227 new samples collected by the sample collection team.

The new samples are from IQC-8, ITI Saikot-21, Dist Hospital-69, close contacts of Advanced Diagnostics-36, close contacts of RIMS staff-6, Covid Care Centre Staff-6 .
