ASUK mourns demise of PREPAK cadres

Alliance for Socialist Unity, Kangleipak (ASUK) has condoled the demise of People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) Acting Chairman, Khumujam Ratan alias Kh Sathy, Organisation Secretary, Mayengbam Joychand alias Michael Luwang and Lt Col RK Ramananda alias Rozer.
An alliance of KCP (Kangleipak Communist Party) and KYKL (Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup), ASUK in a statement issued by its Chairman, N Oken today said it shares the grief and pain of the bereaved families and PREPAK.
It may be noted that the three died "in an accident" on May 23 .
Acting Chairman of the proscribed outfit, PREPAK, Kh Sathy was an invaluable revolutionary leader of Kangleipak and WESEA region.
He was an excellent leader who upheld the spirit of revolution.
From an early age when he joined the revolution, he was fearless and knew no defeat.
He was a rational thinker, a merciful and a righteous person, said the ASUK Chairman.
PREPAK Organisation Secretary, Michael had a bright future.
His religion was his job and he had no wants other than revolution.
Michael wrote his last poetry before he died--
"Yeknaba kayana nangbu langoi chankhrabadi
Lamyanba athouba kayana thawai katkhibadu ningsingu.
Aki-tujung leitana maiyoknarammu lanphamda
Tungda lakpa kayagi lambi yatlammu nakhoina" .
He loved reading books on revolution and wrote articles on revolution, said N Oken.
Lt Col Rozer was a young revolutionary leader and had a bright future.
He was a dedicated revolutionary and respected his seniors.
Their demise have left voids in Kangleipak and WESEA region that can never be filled, he added.
