Naga People's Front (NPF) waits for Kohima to decide

Imphal, June 25 2012: The State unit of the Naga People's Front, with four MLAs in the State Assembly, is yet to decide on who to support in the Presidential election.

Speaking to The Sangai Express today evening, State unit president of the NPF, G Gaingam said that they are still waiting for a formal intimation from the Central leadership of the party at Kohima.

G Gaingam said that he is still functioning as the State unit president of the party as the earlier announcement that the Manipur NPF unit has been dissolved to make way for a fresh organisational restructuring has not been intimated officially from the leadership.

The Manipur State Congress Party, which has five MLAs, is also yet to decide on their choice of the Presidential candidate, said MLA Karam Thamarjit.
