DC, student bodies campaign for 'Clean Examination' : Unfair means checked 'satisfactorily'

Sadar Hills, Senapati/Maram/Mao, February 23 2016:
For the first time in many years, examiners, invigilators, inspecting civil bodies and district administration expressed 'satisfactory examination system' in Senapati district including Sadar Hills.
Kicking off the Class XII examination, the "Clean examination campaign" seems to have paid off.
Equipped with tougher disciplinary actions against errant students or invigilators and CCTVs installed, the first day completed peacefully.
Held under the watchful eye of DC Jacintha Lazarus and SDOs of the district and student bodies, the exam concluded without much ado.
The DC inspected the exam centers at Presidency college Motbung and HM school, Keithelmanbi.
She said the CCTVs are installed on trial basis and if it is effective, the project is likely to cover all exam centers in the State both in Class X and Class XII exams.
All SDOs are also deputed in each exam centers on rotational basis to monitor the conduct of the exam.
SDSA executives visited examination centres of Mt Everest College, Senapati, Mt Pisgah and Maram Private Centre, Don Bosco College, Maram.
SDSA deployed 5 members each in all the examination centre.
At Maram, the MKS expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of COHSEM of the first day at DBC Maram, Maram private centre.
The student body appealed to continue the same spirit till the end of the examination.
Thangal students and Zeliangrong students also inspected examination centres in their areas.
In Mao, the Mao Students' Union monitored the Tadubi center and expressed happiness over the smooth conduct.
The Kuki Students' Organization (KSO-SH) was also active in Sadar Hills.
Student activists personally frisked students to check unfair means.
It also expressed satisfaction over the exam process on the first day.
