One killed, another hurt in gunfight

Imphal, July 20 2022: One Kolungtha Anal (25), son of Rajesh Anal of Walkhurin village got killed and another person identified as KI Relove Anal (33), son of Ruwangkhel Anal of the same village suffered injuries after gun shots were fired during a fight on Wednesday morning at the village which falls under Chakpikarong police station, Chandel district.

Relove Anal has been admitted to CHC Chakpikarong.

According to police report, the incident happened around 1 am on Wednesday when two families clashed at the house of one HB Khitun, during which gunshots were fired killing Kolungtha Anal on the spot and left Relove Anal injured.

The accused involved in the case have been identified as Hb Shelhlung Anal (53) and his brother Hb Kenneth Anal (38), sons of (late) Hb Kothra Anal of the village, and Themba (30) of Tokpaching.
