Imphal, November 16 2021:
Bharatiya Janata Party State unit president A Sharda Devi has said that the people of the State have witnessed 'good governance' in the Country and specifically in the State with the coming of BJP led Government.
A Sharda Devi made the remark while attending a booth level workers interaction meet held at Kasom Khullen in Kamjong district yesterday and added that BJP is one of the largest political parties in the World which is very much different from other parties in the Country.
Unlike other political parties which try to connect with the public only when election is near, the Bharatiya Janata Party walks with the people yearlong.
During the last 4 and half years of BJP rule in the State, relationship between hill and valley have improved and similar developmental works have been taken up in both the hills and the valleys for an inclusive development of the State, this is a subtle example of good governance in the State, she added.
Various schemes meant for the upliftment of the poor have been launched in the State including CMHT and the recent 'Health for All' schemes, she added.
A Sharda Devi appealed the people of Phungyar AC to support and elect a representative from BJP in the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election for a better Phungyar AC and the State at large.
The programme was also attended by intending candidates of BJP from Phungyar AC Ngachonmi Ramshang, Ningreingam Kashung, Hopingson A Shimray and Joseph.
A free medical camp sponsored by Ngachonmi Ramshang was also organised as a part of the programme.
