Goods trucks leave Jiri for Imphal

Jiribam, December 12 2016:
1300 loaded trucks left Jiribam for Imphal under tight security today.
The security team is being led by 6th MR CO Md Faroj Khan.
100 more loaded trucks, in the mean time reached Jiribam minutes after the security escorts set off with the loaded trucks, our correspondent reports.
The loaded trucks that left Jiribam for Imphal today included 38 petrol tankers, 67 diesel tankers, 30 LPG bullet trucks, 2 ATF trucks, 2 oxygen trucks, 413 cement trucks, 112 FCI trucks, 5 medicine trucks and 631 trucks carrying other essential commodities.
Meanwhile Central police forces of four companies of SSB have been deployed on ROP duty along NH-37 starting today.
The 400 Central paramilitary forces led by Commandant Prakash reached Noney today.
The team was further divided into four units which are led by an Assistant Commandant each.
As of now, the Central paramilitary forces are being deployed at Noney, Awangkhul, Khongsang and Nungba.
