Imphal, February 12 2025: Chief Secretary Prashant Kumar Singh inspected various projects being taken up under Imphal City Mission yesterday.

During the inspection, Prashant Kumar Singh, who is also the Chairman of the Imphal Smart City Limited, was accompanied by officials of MAHUD, Imphal Smart City, PDA, MPHC, BEL and PWD.

While he was apprised of the current status of the projects, the Chief Secretary informed that the Smart City Mission will go on till March 31, 2025 .

He instructed the officials and implementing agencies to complete the projects in time, said a statement issued by Principal Secretary MAHUD.

As per the Chief Secretary's instruction, the development of eastern Riverfront (road connecting Sanjenthong to Minuthong has been scheduled to be completed by June 30, 2025 .

The development of Stree4 People at Checkon (from Nongpokthong to Ananda Singh Academy) shall be completed by March 31, 2025 .

The Integrated Command & Control Center (ICCC), Mantripukhri shall be completed by April 30, 2025 (tentative) .

The Construction of ICCC Building at North AOC near 2nd MR Gate shall be completed by March 31, 2025 .

The development of Western Riverfront (Kangla Nongpok Torban) Phase II (from Nongpokthong to Minuthong) shall be completed by March 31, 2025 and the depressed portion by April 30, 2025) .

The development of Mall Road (Thangal Lambi) Phase -l shall be completed by April 30, 2025 .

The development of basement parking at Ima Keithel shall be completed by March 31, 2025 .

During the inspection, the Chief Secretary directed all officials concerned to submit weekly progress reports to the Imphal Smart City Authorities for review and monitoring.

He assured to extend all necessary support for the completion of the projects.
