Flag hoisting ceremony of K Lhouvum held

Imphal, February 12 2022: The NPP candidate from Saitu Assembly Constituency, K Lhouvum has categorically stated that he will contest the ensuing election with firm objectives to make Saitu AC a developed and harmonious constituency and to generate new ideas for the well being of the people.

He made the above statement while speaking on the occasion of his flag hoisting ceremony held at LS Ground at Motbung.

Stating that he took voluntary retirement after serving 32 years in the Ministry of Defence and had joined politics focusing to address the issues of the people and to work selflessly for a developed Saitu AC.

He went on to state that the pitiable conditions of villages and its people in the constituency has motivated him to work for the well being of the people.

The NPP candidate also assured that he will open skill development centres to train the youths to crack not only the State's exam but also other competitive exams of the country.

Maintaining that the masses are well aware of what the previous leaders have done in the past, he will take up measures to ensure that the Tribal's rights are protected and the ADC elections are conducted at the appropriate time.

The flag hoisting ceremony was graced by the Deputy Chief Minister, Y Joykumar as the chief guest and the leaders of the different communities in Saitu AC and the people also attended the event.
