Imphal, February 07 2025: Mangani Leihun ceremony of Koireng-led UNLF/MPA Captain Chirom Chiromcha alias Robindro was solemnised today at N Tomchou Higher Secondary School ground, Mayang Imphal.

It was earlier reported that Captain Chiromcha laid down his life in a battle fought against KNA(B) militants at Manipur-Myanmar border in Kamjong area on January 30, 2025 .

A large number of people who came from different corners of the State including Meira Paibis, students, student leaders and CSO leaders attended the Mangani Leihun ceremony and paid rich tributes to Captain Chiromcha alias Robindro.

A religious procession was also taken out from Mayang Imphal Thana Awang Leikai till Mayang Imphal Bazar.

The procession concluded at Mayang Imphal Thana Awang Leikai , the native village of the martyred revolutionary fighter where his mortal remains were buried.

The gathering remembered the contributions and good deeds done by Captain Chiromcha alias Robindro and paid tearful adieu to the departed revolutionary fighter.
