Imphal, April 05 2017: After some Class XII students were reportedly caught copying via leaked Physics question paper today, Democratic Students' Alliance Manipur (DESAM) has demanded stern action against officials involved in the scam.

Speaking to mediapersons today at its office, DESAM secretary general Namei-rakpam Edison said, "DESAM went to inspect 10 Class XII exam centres today.

At St Paul Women's College, Mongsangei students of HRD, Ghari were found copying answers which were directly set from the distributed question paper.

Even the college premises was filled with notes.

"Physics question paper was leaked on Facebook and Whatsapp at 9.30 am today.

The leaked question paper turned out to be the same question paper set by COHSEM," he added.

At Kakching Higher secondary School exam centre, students of Padma Ratna English School, Kakching were found adhering to examination rules.

However, students of Pole Star College, Wabagai were found cheating, he said and alleged COHSEM officials deputed at Kakching Higher Secondary School exam centre of restricting DESAM volunteers from conducting proper inspection.
