Imphal, February 03 2022:
At least 41 artistes including noted actor RK Somorendro alias Kaiku have joined BJP today.
They were received warmly by Chief Minister N Biren Singh, BJP State unit president A Sharda Devi and other party leaders at Nityaipat Chuthek.
At the ceremony, N Biren said that BJP is a party which works to uplift the living standard of the poor.
Emergence of multiple BJP intending candidates in many Constituencies is a good sign as it indicates the good governance in the last 5 years, N Biren said and added that people admiring good qualities is a natural phenomena.

Maintaining that the fuss seen after the BJP named its candidates have been settled in majority of the Constituencies, the Chief Minister continued that a person who sought a BJP ticket from Patsoi AC and his supporters had already agreed to support the party candidate.
BJP is targeting to win over 40 seats, N Biren reiterated and elaborated that the party will win above 30 in the valley alone and another 10 from hill districts.
Stating that a BJP exclusive Government will be installed after the election, N Biren stated that the saffron party is committed to give peace and development to the people and the same has already been seen in the last five years.
