KSO condemns bomb attack, slams Govt

The Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO), Ghqtrs has denounced the bomb attack of the ADC office complex at Khuman Lampak that left three innocent people injured on May 28, and termed it as pure act of terrorism.
The student body has also criticised criticize the State Government for failing to assist the victims.
Judging from the site chosen by the ones who planted the car-bomb, it is evident that they intent to strike out at the symbol of decentralization in the state, said a release of the student body that also dubbed the incident as an act of terrorism, bereft of any logic or ideology.
The organization also lamented that the State Government's incompetency in letting the injured fight for their life unaided.
'Even more lamentable is the blatant fact that three of the injured all belonging to the same family � (Boinu, Lucy and Neichin) are fighting for their life unaided, without any form of assistance from the government,' it alleged.
The KSO release that also pleaded assistance for the injured without any further delay yet warns of an agitation, if the government continues to adopt an attitude of indifference towards the victims.
Meanwhile, an emergency meeting of the executive committee of the ADC Churachandpur that was convened late yesterday as well condemned the car-bomb attack at the ADC complex and calls one and all not to repeat such a cowardly act in future.
