Imphal, March 02 2017:
Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) secretary general Sukham Vidyananda has clarified that the destruction of BJP State Unit office at Nityaipat Chuthek by KSA volunteers, yesterday, was neither intentional nor politically motivated.
Speaking to media persons at the KSA's office at Tiddim road, Vidyananda said, "KSA student volunteers went to every office of all the political parties yesterday.
But when the volunteers reached BJP State Unit office, they were made to wait outside the gate for a long time and even then, none of the BJP officials came out to meet the students" .
He claimed that the student volunteers caused damage to the office in a fit of rage after they lost patience adding that KSA did not intentionally target the party's office.
Vidyananda clarified that KSA is not endorsing any political parties by storming the BJP office and expressed deep disappointment regarding the unfortunate incident.
He further demanded all the political parties in the State to take up all possible measures to bring out the truth behind all the fake encounter cases at the earliest.
