Upon learning this, he avoided returning home and instead hid himself around a corner.
He added that he also recognized 3/4 persons out of the lot who were causing chaos at his home and alleged that these individuals were the brothers of MLA Radheshyam, namely Thokchom Sanathoi, Thokchom Dhruba and Tonjam Romen.
N Bimol further informed that the persons dressed in black also turned off the transformer rendering his CCTV non-functional and also destroyed the CCTV and monitor as well.
After this, the shooting and destruction began, he added.
N Bimol was unable to return home yesterday but found his home in shambles when he returned this morning.
Further, a gold chain and cash were also taken, he informed.
He strongly condemned the act of violence carried out by these goons who dragged out the women in his house, held them at gunpoint and demanded to know his whereabouts.

The participants of the protest displayed various placards with messages like "Punish the perpetrators", "We protest against holding women at gunpoint"', "MLA who loots in the name of election should resign" among others.
