All issues of NE to be resolved soon: K Reddy

Union Minister for Culture, Tourism and DoNER G Kishan Reddy has categorically stated that the Central Government will resolve all the issues of the North East region in succession.
He was responding to a question raised on the impediments faced by the tourism sector due to border disputes and lack of infrastructure by The Sangai Express on the sidelines of the two-day conference of Tourism and Culture Ministers of the Southern region conducted recently at Bengaluru.
He stated that all the issues prevailing in the North East region for years need to be resolved one by one.
The Minister went on to claim that roads and railway connectivity among other developmental aspects of the region have improved considerably following the installation of the BJP led Government at the Centre.

Remarking that Manipur and the North East region as a whole was marred with protests and blockades earlier, the Minister added that the Central Government now focuses on developing the North East region.
While lauding India's Covid vaccination drive, the Union Minister stated that there can be no bigger confidence booster for the revival of tourism than vaccination.
The inaugural function was also attended by Union Minister of State for Tourism Ajay Bhatt, Union Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting Dr L Murugan, Union Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy Bhagwanth Khuba and many senior officials from Central Ministries.
Technical sessions emphasizing on reviving the tourism sector in southern States of the country as a whole in the post Covid era were also conducted during the two day conference which was held on October 28 and 29 last.
