PREPAK (GS) to be PREPAK (Progressive)

Imphal, May 31 2011: The proscribed PREPAK (GS), will henceforth start operating under the name of PREPAK (Progressive) from June 1 .

Announcing this to media persons somewhere at a place in a hill district today, the assistant secretary publicity and propaganda in-charge, Major N Sunil said that PREPAK (Progressive) will function under the leadership of comrade Palliba and will be known as PREPAK (P) in short.

There will be no let up in the revolutionary movement, he declared.

The publicity-in-charge said that the ideology, emblem and the name of its armed wing will remain unchanged and added that there will also be no change in the date of the foundation day of the PREPAK (P) .

The PREPAK (P) will endeavour to give more teeth and bite to the revolutionary movement, said Sunil and added that stress would be laid in indoctrinating the educated youth with the call for revolution, which will in turn cure the society of its many ailments.

The PREPAK (P) functionary further said that the outfit will always keep its doors open to the call of the public for all armed groups to unite and come under one unit.

PREPAK (P) is ready to unite with like minded groups under a single and united front, he declared.

Underlining the need to put the armed movement on the right track, Sunil said that the outfit will try its best to revamp the armed cadres so that they go along with the pulse of the people.

Sunil also appealed to the people to forgive any mistakes that may have been committed while they functioned under the name of PREPAK (GS) .
