Award for Animal gym trainer

Physical trainer RK Viswajit of Khoyathong Polem Leikai received the prestigious Real Heroes Award in the Health and Disability category for this year at a glittering function at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai on March 24 .
The award which carried a memento and Rs five lakh was handed over to him by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar in the presence of Nita Ambani, Chairperson, Reliance Foundation and Rajdeep Sardesai, editor-in-chief of IBN 18 Network.
In its official website, Real Heroes, which is an initiative of CNN-IBN and Reliance Foundation, described Viswajit, one of the 24 receipents in its fifth edition, as an individual waging a war against addiction through body building in a state which is a deadly cocktail of isolation, violence and drugs.

He has reformed addicts through a combination of workout, meditation and campaigning, it added.
His next target is the rural areas of Manipur where he plans to set up gyms and create awareness on ground.
The award winner is also the trainer of Animal Gym established at his residential compound.
