Lt Gen AK Singh honours Tupul victims

Imphal, February 26 2023: Lieutenant General AK Singh on Sunday offered floral tributes to the personnel of 107 Infantry Battalion TA (11 Gorkha Rifles), who died in the Tupul landslide, at the Unit War Memorial erected at the location.

The Unit was deployed at the location to deter any disturbance to Jiribam-Imphal Mega Railway Project.

Lauding the Territorial Army for its efforts in ensuring the success of the national mega project, AK Singh appealed to the Unit and Railways to continue working together.

The Battalion CO apprised the Lt Gen of the operational tasks and civil actions taken up by the Battalion.

Later, AK Singh met with railway officials and assured of extending all possible help from his side.
