Wisecrabs teaches underprivileged children

Kakching, December 22 2021: Wisecrabs-Chandel, a club with a vision to usher in excellence in the field of education in Chandel district, has started a project to teach underprivileged children who don't have access to education.

Around 10 volunteer teachers hailing from diverse professions including a veterinarian doctor, a music teacher, few college students, a couple of BEd students and club executives are taking classes for 25 children thrice a week.

These children belonging to tribal and Nepali community are unable to receive education due to the nature of work their parents are doing and the nearest school is located approximately 5 km away.

Generous people have also come forward to donate used clothes, stationeries and sweets for the children.
