IRCS Senapati Youth volunteers sanitize Senapati town

Senapati, June 16 2021:
With an aim to save lives, the Youth Volunteers of Indian Red Cross Society, Senapati district sanitized the whole town of Senapati in view of the partial relaxation of the ongoing containment period in the district.
RS Abel, senior member of IRCS, Senapati stated that the IRCS, Senapati has been sanitizing important public places and areas with reported Covid positive cases since the first wave of COVID-19 pandemic.
The team has been reportedly sanitizing different areas of Senapati town with fogging machines and spraying sodium hypochlorite.
Meanwhile, Senapati DC in collaboration with the Town Committee is stated to carry out similar activities in the future.
The District Youth Volunteers reportedly carried out similar activities at Mao, Tadubi, Maram and District Headquarters, Senapati in view of the partial relaxation of the ongoing containment period in the district.
RS Abel also extended his appreciation to Senapati DC and Karong Senapati Town Committee (KSTC) members for their support and the Youth Volunteers for taking up such yeoman service to save humanity from time to time.
Expressing gratitude to the Youth Brigade of IRCS, Senapati, A John, president, KSTC asserted that IRCS, Senapati have been actively involved in sanitizing different places of the district to stop the spread of the virus and lauded the youth volunteers for their service.
