AR inaugurates toilet block in Churachandpur

Demonstrating its continued commitment to community welfare and development, Assam Rifles dedicated a newly constructed toilet block in Chinglangmei, a remote village in Churachandpur district of Manipur on Wednesday.
According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), the project constructed under Operation Sadbhavana will improve sanitation and hygiene facilities for the villagers, contributing to the Government of India's "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" scheme.
The newly built toilet block will provide much needed access to clean and hygienic sanitation, benefiting the local population, especially women and children.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by officials from Assam Rifles personnel, village authorities, and community members.
Speaking at the event, officials from Assam Rifles emphasized the importance of sanitation in ensuring public health and pledged continued support for similar community development initiatives.
The villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Assam Rifles for their efforts in addressing basic infrastructure needs and improving their quality of life.
