Awareness programme on 'COVID-19 vaccination' held

Tamenglong, June 30 2021: Khongsai Youth Union, Tamenglong & Jiribam Branch organised an awareness programme on 'COVID-19 vaccination' at Tatbung Community Hall, Tatbung village m Tousem Sub-division of Tamenglong district today.

The programme was attended by Khongsai Youth Union Tamenglong & Jiribam Branch, Manipur vice president, Nehngam; BJP ST Morcha Manipur Pradesh vice president, J Khongsai; Mathew Panmei, president ST Morcha,Tamenglong District; Khussem Bukli, spokesperson ST Morcha Manipur Pradesh; K Pouminlun, president ST Morcha Imphal Central District and Jameson Hmar, Mandal president ST Morcha Tamenglong as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, J Khongsai stated that the vaccination programme held in Tatbung village was organised by the ST Morcha under the supervision of ST Morcha president, BJP president and the Chief Minister.

He also appealed to the people to come forward for the vaccination and to provide their support to the initiatives of the Government.

Khussem Bukli urged the people to vaccinate themselves and not to fall into misleading claims shared about Covid vaccine in various social media platforms.

Later, BJP ST Morcha Manipur Pradesh also provided face masks and sanitizers to Khongsai Youth Union Tamenglong & Jiribam Branch, Manipur.
