Imphal, September 29 2023: Inter-Faith Forum for Peace and Harmony (IFPH), Manipur has appealed to all concerned engaged in violent conflict for peace in the larger interests of humanity, and present and future children of the state.

In a release, IFPH informed that a collective leadership meeting of all religious/ faith communities of Manipur was held at Guwahati on September 26-27 and resolved to appeal to the communities in conflict to end the cycle of violence in every form.

"We request our friends and supporters in Manipur and outside to avoid every form of exaggeration in the description of past or current events and negative projection of the future in the media or other social contexts," it said.
