Assam Rifles organises educational tour

Imphal, August 25 2024: Assam Rifles organised an educational tour for students of Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), New Keithelmanbi, Imphal West district, from August 18 to 23.The tour team comprising five teachers and 40 students had hands-on learning experience on the rich Cultural and natural heritage of Northeast India, according to PRO IGAR (S), adding that the tour commenced with a formal flag-off ceremony held at the Keithelmanbi Garrison of Assam Rifles.

During the trip, students explored historical Sites, educational institutions, and cultural landmarks in Guwahati, Shillong, and Cherrapunji.

During the flag-in ceremony held at Keithelmanbi Garrison, the students were given a warm welcome by Assam Rifles, peer students and school authorities.

The students also shared their exciting experiences and newfound knowledge regarding the trip, said the PRO in a release.
