Thoubal, August 10 2024: As part of the 100 Days' Special Awareness cum Enrolment Drive under Mission Shakti Scheme, an Integrated Women Empowerment Programme of central government, Thoubal District NGOs Implementing Shakti Sadan Homes and IGDS-Cell, Thoubal district programme officer (DPO) jointly conducted a one-day workshop on gender sensitisation at RVS Shakti Sadan Home, Wangbal on Friday.

The programme was attended by ICDS-Cell, Thoubal DPO N Parango Singh; RDS, Wangjing president Th Inaobi Singh; Thoubal CDPO Th Romita Devi, Lilong CDPO Irengbam Bijaya Devi and OSC, Thoubal centre administration N Shyama Devi as presidium members.

During the event, District Legal Services Authority, Thoubal panel lawyer Lembisana Meidingu spoke as resource person on the topic 'Impact of Gender Inequality in our Society and Protection against Gender Inequality' .
