Imphal, August 09 2022: The Directorate of Tribal Affairs and Hills has informed that online entries for availing Pre-Matric/Post-Matric Scholarship from eligible Scheduled Tribes students belonging to Manipur, whose parents/guardians' annual income does not exceed Rs 2,50,000, for the academic session 2022-23 will commence from August 12.In a notification, Tribal Affairs &Hills director Hungyo Worshang said that the government of Manipur started implementing these schemes under National Scholarship Portal (NSP 2.0) on Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode through Public Fund Management System (PFMS) with effect from 2019-20 .

While advising the students to apply only through NSP 2.0 on the website www.scholarships.gov.in, the director said that last date for entries of application for the scholarship shall be October 15 .
