Bishnupur reviews poll preparedness

Bishnupur, December 06 2021: To ensure smooth conduct of the forthcoming state assembly election in all the six assembly constituencies in the district, District Election Office, Bishnupur convened its seventh round of meeting at the DC Complex conference hall on Monday.

The seventh district level poll related meeting was chaired by Bishnupur election officer Ejaj Hassan in the presence of Bishnupur ADC H Bobby Sharmaand SP Hopson Sapam.

All the EROs and district nodal officers also attended the meeting.

The meeting specifically deliberated on various issues concerning digitisation of electoral rolls, postal ballot arrangement, identification of 'women only' polling stations, intensification of SVEEP campaign, illicit liquor drive, model code of conduct, security force deployment plan, training of polling personnel and vehicle management among other issues.

During the meeting all EROs and nodal officers also updated the election officer on the status of poll preparedness under their respective management.
