MSF surveys saplings planted in June

Imphal, October 29 2024: Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) and Central Forest Division, Nongmaiching Range jointly conducted a programme on the theme 'Tree nurturing survey for future generations' at Nungdum Nungnaobi, Kalika (Nongmaiching range under Central Forest Division) on Tuesday.

In a release, environment & ecology affairs secretary Khangembam Tanzania said MSF along with the Central Forest Division organised mass tree plantation drive on June 8, 2024 at the same range.

Subsequently, the tree nurturing programme was organised with an objective to preserve the environment for future generations, he added.

The secretary urged people to plant more trees to lessen impact from extreme weather conditions caused by climate change.
