AR holds lecture prog, distributes essential items

Assam Rifles con ducted "A Day with Company Commander" and organised a lecture at Phaikoh village, Kamjong district which had the participation of 45 students from Phaikoh and Humine Thana villages.
According to PRO IGAR (S), the participants engaged in lively badminton and volleyball matches, showing teamwork and camaraderie apart from visiting the Sarv Dharam Sthal, embracing the unity of all religions under one roof.
Lecture on "Career Opportunities' broadened the students' horizons by enlightening them on various career options, said the PRO in a release, adding that the event concluded with prize distribution and lunch.
On the other-hand, Assam Rifles provided humanitarian assistance to the internally displaced people staying at the Mangolnganbi College relief camp on Tuesday.
This initiative aimed at providing basic needs such as sugar, milk, rice and salt to the relief camp residents numbering 162 villagers of all ages while also promoting mutual trust, peace, and harmony in the region, the PRO informed in another release.
