M Thoiba re-elected MCM president

Moreh, April 23 2022: Mayanglambam Thoiba Meitei has been re-appointed as the president of Meetei Council Moreh and will hold the post for three years.

Members present in a meeting convened on Saturday morning at its conference hall to reform the Council unanimously decided to entrust the president's charge to Thoiba.

The Council's new executives include Leichongbam Tomba Singh and Thangjam Ibungo Singh as vice presidents, Leisangthem Brojen Meitei as general secretary and Loitongbam Bobby Singh as treasurer.

Besides MCM executives, the meeting was also attended by representatives of All Manipur Students' Union, Tengnoupal District Committee; Kha-Nongpok Apunba Nupi Lup, Moreh; and presidents, secretaries and members of five clubs of Moreh.
