Role of women in drug prevention discussed

Imphal, December 22 2021: Manipur State Commission for Women & Social Welfare Department (MSCW) in association with Golden Star Club, Pukhao Ahallup organised a one-day legal awareness programme on role of women in drug prevention on Wednesday at Pukhao Ahallup Community Hall.

During the programme was attended by 130 women, Kripa Foundation project director Ksh Jibonmala spoke on the topic "Role of women in drug prevention," advocate S Nongpoknganba Meitei on "Criminal law and women", and advocate Th Rajkishore on "Women and family law" as the resource persons, MSCW chairperson uncharge Thumlip Tiningpgam Monsang, members Lourembam Dayabati Devi and T Chuongsin Koireng, Social welfare director Ngangom Uttam Singh and Golden Star Club president Naorem Pakpa Meitei attended the programme as presidium members.
