Covid vaccination camps organised at Yaiskul AC

Imphal, June 22 2021: As part of philanthropic activity to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic in Yaiskul Assembly Constituency, mass vaccination drive was held today at two locations namely Yumnam Leikai Ground and at Brahmapur Nahabam Leikai Basketball Ground under the initiative of MLA of Yaiskul AC and Labour Minister Thokchom Satyabrata Singh.

A total of 230 persons were vaccinated at Lairembi Lampak Yumnam Leikai that was organised by IBSA Club and about 200 persons were vaccinated at Brahmapur Nahabam Leikai Basketball Ground under the aegis of the Dharmalaya Social Welfare Centre.

It may be mentioned that around 6,045 persons belonging to Yaiskul AC were vaccinated at Primary Health Centre (PflC) Sangaipat from February 17 onwards and around 118 people took the vaccination at Bokul Makhong while the figures at Samashakhi School, Brahmapur Social Club, Mange Makhong and Youth Club Brahmapur (YCB) Aribam Leikai stood at 219,178 and 130 respectively.

Deputy Commissioner of Imphal East, Khumanthem Diana was also present at the Brahmapur Nahabam Leikai vaccination centre.

Both these mass-vaccination camps were organized as a part of the social welfare activity and health care initiative of Minister Thokchom Satyabrata for the people of Yaiskul AC.
