CCpur reports 64 new COVID-19 positive cases

Churachandpur, May 20 2021: Churachandpur district reported 64 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours taking the total number of active cases in the district to 361 .

A total of 34 persons (17 male and 17 female) have recovered.

Out of the 64 persons confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases, 24 were male and 40 were female.

Besides, among the 178 persons tested in the Rapid Antigen Test at District Hospital and other testing sites, 37 persons were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases while 20 persons were tested positive through RT PCR test.

7 persons were reported positive from other districts.

The total number of positive cases in the district as of May 20 is 2950 which includes 1922 male and 1028 female, while 2527 have recovered.

As per the information provided by the Churachandpur District Hospital authorities, all 25 beds at the dedicated COVID-19 centre, District Hospital, Churachandpur, are en-gaged/occupied as of today.

Besides, 60 D Type Cylinders are available as of date at the District Hospital, out of which 23 cylinders are in stock while 22 cylinders are currently in use.

The District Hospital also has 36 B Type Oxygen cylinders, out of which 8 cylinders are currently in use.

The remaining cylinders have been sent for refilling.
