Imphal, December 19 2021: Three books written by different writers were released in different functions on Sunday.

Yengkhom Rama's poetry book 'Wakhal Yenning' was released in a function organised by Leimarol Khorjeikol (Leikol) at MDU hall, Yaiskul Police Lane.

Former chairperson of Manipur State Commission for Women professor Chongtham Jamini, Leikol president Kshetrimayum Subadani and Manipuri Language Advisory Board convener Nongmaithem Kirankumar attended the function as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Manipur University School of Humanities dean professor Nahakpam Aruna gave a brief review of the book.

On the other hand, Sea Waves Manipur's English poetry book "The Mode' and Kh Ibeton's Manipuri novel "Tonu Kadeng Sari Wasak' were released in another function held at Waikhom Mani Girls' College, Thoubal on Sunday.
