Drive against helmetless riders continues

Imphal, April 11 2022: Traffic control police, Imphal East led by additional SP Keisham Bijoykumar conducted drive against two-wheeler riders who do not wear helmet on Monday.

During the drive, the police team detained riders without helmet and imparted awareness on importance of wearing helmet and its benefits at the time accident.

The detained riders were allowed to bring helmet from their homes or purchase from market.

Only then, they, were released.

On the sidelines of the drive, Bijoykumar told media persons that the drive was conducted to ensure that two-wheeler riders wear helmet and to create awareness about the importance of wearing helmet.
