Assn pleas for unrestrained transportation of medicines

Imphal, August 02 2024: Manipur Chemists and Druggists' Association urged all not to obstruct transportation of medicines into Manipur from other states via the national highways.

Speaking to media persons at its Gambhir Singh Shopping Arcade, office here on Thursday, general secretary Thokchom Dijamani informed that the Association has been doing everything within its capability to ensure adequate stock of essential medicines in the state amidst the turmoil.

While dismissing the allegations levelled by Kangpokpi District Chemists & Druggists' Association about restriction imposed in acquiring medicines as unfounded and baseless, he clarified that the Association had never prohibited any license holder, both in the hills and the valley, in having their share of medicines.
