Renovated house handed over

Imphal, June 30 2021:
A renovated house belonging to a below poverty line household in Uripok Khoisnam Leikai was handed over by Khumbongmayum Suresh, member of BJP Manipur and intending candidate from Uripok AC m the upcoming State Assembly Election.
The house which was in a dilapidated condition earlier belonging to Irengbam Sangita of Uripok Khoisnam Leikai has been renovated from the monetary assistance of Rs 1 lakh by Chief Minister N Biren Singh, contribution of Rs 95,000 (Rupees ninety five thousand) by a family from Thangmeiband and from the contributions made by Kh Suresh, local clubs, meira paibis and other well wishers.
It may be noted that Irengbam Sangita has been unwell since the past 15 years whose treatment is being taken care by Shija Foundation for free and the responsibility for her daughter's education is taken care by Nirvana Foundation at Ghari Awang Leikai till she completes 12th Standard.
Speaking on the occasion, Kh Suresh said that the major portion of the house was constructed and he helped in renovation work as requested by elders of the locality, meira paibis and local clubs.
He further assured of providing all possible help in the welfare activities of Uripok AC .
I Sangita extended gratitude to Chief Minister N Biren Singh and all those who contributed in the renovation of her house considering her troubles and pitiable condition.
