Imphal, December 30 2021: BJP Assam vice president Vijay Kumar Gupta on Thursday remarked that North East states will develop when every constituency in Manipur develops.

Vijay Kumar gave his observation on the sidelines of Kamal Sakhai rally organised in Oinam assembly constituency from Irengbam to Oinam by BJP intending candidate Khumukcham Jibon, who is also the general secretary of BJP Kishan Morcha.

Vijay further stated that the BJP-led governments both in the state and at the centre have been pursuing hard to develop the state and added that Act East Policy will materialise when Manipur develops.

The rally was also attended by Assam deputy speaker Dr Numul Nomin, Bhartiya Chairtain March co-convenor Mizoram's Lalnuna Hauhnar and Karbi Anglong Aiitonoumus Council Assam member Mukut Mahanta.

In his speech, Jibon elaborated on his plans and ambitions to improve the condition of farmers and common people if elected as the MLA.
