DC for aggressive testing in Imphal West

Imphal, May 27 2021:
Imphal West deputy commissioner has submitted a proposal to Health Services director to carry out aggressive mass testing of Covid-19 in the district.
In a press release, Imphal West deputy commissioner Th Kirankumar stated that under the said proposal the district is planning to mobilise around 45 Testing teams constituted by the existing as well as augmentation of new team members.
A team shall consist of 3 members - 2 trained nurses and 1 MTS/Lab Technician.
For this, under normal procedure notification and selection process is required and would further delay the initiation of the time bound exercise to contain the spread of the virus.
The DC also urged the director to furnish the names of non-selected candidates for contract nurses and MTS/Lab Technician, who were not even in the waiting list, with their address and contact number in the recently conducted recruitment exam in order to avoid delay in the recruitment of nurses and MTS/Lab Technician so that the initiative for aggressive mass testing can be initiated on schedule.
