Imphal, February 26 2023: Kulladhwaja Konsam's poetry book 'Yugee Ishei' and Moirangthem Borkanya's novel 'Chigonglei Leinam' were released in a function held at Manipur Hindi Parishad hall, Old Assembly Road, here, on Sunday.

Renowned writers Yumlembam Ibomcha and RK Bhubonsana attended the event as chief guest and president respectively while Dilip Mayengbam and Dr Lanchenba Meetei were present as guests of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, Ibomcha praised Borkanya for her relentless courage in writing the novel despite the hardships she faces in her life.

The society needs committed writers like her, he said.

On the other hand, the poetry book of Kulladhwaja Konsam will definitely give a new taste among the readers, he said.

Dr Lanchenba Meetei gave a brief review of 'Yugee Ishei' while Dilip Mayengbam shared his thoughts on 'Chigonglei Leinam' .
